The most important thing we can learn is how to operate ourselves. This is the fundamental necessity of all experience; a fact largely missed in our society where we are taught to run our experiences of the world as though they are dictated by circumstance rather than who we are and how we decide to process and interpret information.
Below is a list of consultants and trainers that I personally recommend. They range in interest, style and area of expertise but all of them are highly skilled and will be able to familiarize you or anyone else with the structure of how you are at your best.
All of those listed below have been trained in the MythoSelf® Process by Dr. Joseph Riggio or a derivation of that process by me.
Two things to note:
1. None of these people are inexpensive. All of them have dedicated their lives to this work; they are world class trainers and get paid accordingly.
2. Recently, particularly since the self-awareness revolution of the 1960's, there has been increasing attention in the West to what it means to be human. This counter culture curve is reaching critical mass with yoga studios and healthy living practices beng integrated everywhere in our culture.
The most important development in self-awareness is the establishment of universal standards - language, skills, understandings and technologies that do for self operation what allopathic medicine did for health and programmers did for the internet.
Though consultants, gurus and self-help masters can be found in every corner of the world, there are few that have mastered the language and skillsets necessary to train another person in a way that is both respectful of the client's model of the world and uses the universal standards of NeuroLogic that are now emerging.
Though my primary intention is to promote the integration of these standards throughout our culture, particularly in our public schooling, institutes of higher education and the social sciences, it's important to recognize where we are right now. The fact is, many of us and really, most of us, were not raised in conditions optimal for developing appropriate self-use and self awareness. Because of this basic lack of information we must first begin by educating ourselves. To that end I've developed this page to be a resource for people interested in learning their own NeuroLogic. |
